I am a freelance business journalist writing on emerging markets. My work focuses on international trade networks, grey markets, and immigration, and particularly how bottom up pressures for poverty alleviation are challenging traditional notions of law and foreign policy.
I have written for Reason magazine, the Economist Intelligence Unit, Roubini Global Economics and France 24. I was the managing editor of China International Business magazine for three years, and involved in the establishment two quarterly publications about Chinese outbound investment, and offshore finance. I also blogged briefly about China-Africa relations on the website African Boots.
